Welcome back to Tower by the Sea! Last time generation two went through college! Katelyn was officially announced as heir, Cal was introduced and Nathan finally found love.
Now before we get back to the tower let’s do a quick check-in on Louisa who graduated back in the winter.

Orlando and Louisa moved into a small bungalow together and quickly tied the knot.

It didn’t take long for the two of them to have children together.
-
They ended up having twin girls called Molly, on the left, and Sylvia. You’ll be seeing these two pop up now and then as time passes.

With the spare update out of the way, it’s time to welcome Katelyn back to the tower!
Katelyn rolled a two with the dice so she’ll be having two children for her generation. I’m glad that so far things have been staying small when it comes to kids.

Before we officially get this started we first need to need to reintroduce our generation two heir and her spouse though.

I barely had a chance to finish their makeover before they rushed off to their new bedroom to make a baby.
They are not even married yet and generation three is already on the way!

After christening their bed they both went looking for jobs. Cal’s dream job in the Paranormal career appeared immediately.
Katelyn, on the other hand, will have to try again tomorrow.

With the day free Cal got to work on getting his hobby enthusiasm up.

Katelyn, meanwhile, thought it would be smart to spy on her brother-in-law.
Katelyn: “I did not need to see that!”
Then stop looking!

With Emily having such high skills worked in our favour as we got the generation two portraits done and up in no time at all.

Cal seriously?! There are two bathrooms in this house! You don’t even stink!
Cal: “I spilt food on my clothes!”

Could you have at least waited until Katelyn was done in her bath?
Katelyn: “It’s fine. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen each other naked.”
Cal: “See?!”
That is not the point! Put some clothes on, Cal!
Cal: “Stop repressing me!”

Clothes back on, Cal soon heads off to his first day of work.

There’s no point in trying later, he doesn’t live here anymore.

The next day Katelyn, finally, rolled a want to get engaged to Cal. I quickly got her to propose before the wish went away, Cal, of course, said yes.

Cal: “What made you change your mind?”
Katelyn: “Mmm?”
Cal: “About marriage? I thought you didn’t want to get married?”
Katelyn: “I didn’t before. I want to now. Is that okay?”
Cal: “I wouldn’t have said yes if it wasn’t.”
Katelyn: “I love you.”
Cal: “I love you too.”

It’s time to throw a wedding party!

Just as the party was starting Juan ended up getting a promotion.

Introducing Mr and Mrs Katelyn Reed!

Katelyn makes such a beautiful bride. I very rarely use the dress she’s wearing but I can’t think of a better one for her.

Juan: “Can you believe it? All of our children are married.”
Emily: “We’re also grandparents to two beautiful girls, and another grandchild on the way.”
Juan: “It seems like time is flying by.”
Emily: “True but I’m enjoying the ride.”
Juan: “Me too, love.”

Even though Emily has completed her LTW, she’s still working on her skills.

Emily and Juan are getting on in age so I decided to have them both wish for ‘The Power to Cheat Death’. That way they can live a bit longer.

Cal has completely settled down in his new home, exposing his family and the neighbours to his obsession with walking around in his underwear.

The next morning Katelyn finally found a job in her dream career.

Second bump!

I guess nothing happened as suddenly it’s time to welcome generation three!
Katelyn: “Mom! Ow! Mommy!”
Emily: “Katelyn?! Is it the baby?!”

Katelyn: “AHHH! Why am I doing this?!”
Emily: “You need to control your breathing sweetie.”
Katelyn: “WHERE THE PLUMBOB IS CAL?!”

One baby.

It’s a little girl! She is all Cal with his dark skin colour and his deep blue eyes. Meet Bridget Reed.

Emily: “Another granddaughter! Well done, Katelyn! I’m so proud of you.”
Katelyn: “Mom she’s beautiful.”
Emily: “She is.”

With generation three born that means I can add another floor to the tower! Thinking back it would have been smarter to move Emily and Juan up and have the kids be downstairs but oh well.
I also added another bathroom and gave Katelyn a robot station so she can continue to work on her robotics badge.
(And yes Cal was home the entire time during the birth but he never once started to come and see what was going on. He just stayed in the bedroom.)

Cal: “Oh my gosh! Katelyn when did you give birth?”
Katelyn: “Seriously? Did you not hear me screaming?”
Cal: “Nope.”
Katelyn: “Plumbob above, Cal.”

With baby Bridget settled on her baby mat, Emily goes back to doing what she loves. Learning new skills.

Juan came home from work and decided he loved being a grandfather, so much he wants more grandchildren.
Well, he can forget it, I’m trying to keep the whole generation to a two-child limit.

With him getting on in age though I decided to have him finally retire, it just didn’t seem right to have someone his age working on a SWAT team.
Juan: “Yes I would like to retire. I just became a grandfather again.”

He somehow managed to get to level eight in the Law Enforcement career, even though he never went to college so it’s no surprise he gets a bigger fund than Emily.

Emily: “Nathan doesn’t live here anymore. Would you like me to give you his new number?”
Christy Stratton: “No that’s okay. I’ll just try again later.”
Emily: “But I just said-she hung up.”
(To get her to stop calling for Nathan I had to make him selectable and have him answer the phone when he was over for a visit. It turns out she was a friend of Lilly’s who wanted to meet up with Nathan.)

Juan is such a good grandfather.

With some free time on her hands, Katelyn decides to get back to working on her robotic bronze badge.

Cal brought home a promotion!

Katelyn finally got her bronze badge!

The next morning she’s off to her first day of work.

While Emily decides to try and burn the house down.

Thankfully we’ve had a fire alarm since she moved in so it was all good.

Okay, this wasn’t planned at all. Katelyn wanted to stargaze and I forgot that Sims who have been abducted before have a higher chance of getting abducted again.

Katelyn: “Ahh!”
Did you just hear a lullaby?
Katelyn: “AHHHH!”

I guess that’s a tomorrow problem! Time for a Golden Anniversary party!

Emily: “I love you, Juan.”
Juan: “Emily?”
Emily: “I just wanted you to know, just in case things go wrong.”
Juan: “Emily everything is going to be fine. I love you too.”

Well, that’s an unwelcome guest at an anniversary party.
Grim Reaper: “Well that’s just rude.”
Emily: “They are right though. You could have waited until after the party finished.”
Grim Reaper: “I don’t control when your live bar fills, Emily Reed. Now it’s time for you to come with me.”

Nah I think Emily is going to be staying for another day.
Grim Reaper: “That damn Genie! Always interfering in the natural order of things!”

Emily’s first encounter with the Grim Reaper isn’t the only thing that’s happening tonight though. It’s also time for Bridget to become a toddler!

Then jump out of the river of denial!

Well, there’s no denying it now! The aliens left Katelyn a small gift when they abducted her. Baby number two is going to be an alien!

With that, we’re going to bring this part to a close! I’m a bit disappointed how much Bridget looks like Cal but she does have Katelyn’s nose and her cheekbones.
I would have liked them to have another baby together but obviously, the game had other ideas.
