Tower by the Sea - Second Floor: Part 1

A quick warning there is sim nudity and swearing but all of it is censored in some way.
Just thought I would warn you just in case it's not censored enough.

Welcome back to Tower by the Sea! Last time the girls headed off to college with their boyfriends, Bridget got on the wrong side of her cousin Ella, Alon turned out to be a genius in all skills and finally Maegan was officially announced as the generation three heir.

We start with Maegan playing some chess with one of the dormies I can’t remember the name of.

Maegan: “I want to visit space again!”
That’s not happening. I don’t want any alien abduction babies this round.

Alon is still working on his garden badges, it looks like by the time he graduates he’ll have a gold one!
-

Alon is calm playing videos games, he had the dormie tormenting him the entire time and he still won and got the guy to apologize.
-
Maegan meanwhile continues to prove how amazing she is.
-
Creativity is the next skill she’s aiming to max.
-
Prudence isn’t handling college life very well.
-
Lazy mornings.
-
Time for final exams!

They passed!
-
The end of a semester means that another cousin is graduating! Crispin Do is heading back to Hunter’s Island to be with his boyfriend.

Studying.
-
Oh come on Ashley, why did you go to the bathroom before you went to class?

Cook: “Oh, I started a fire.”
-
Cook: “OH SH*T! I STARTED A FIRE!”

Another skill in the bag!

Woah! What the hell happened?!
Maegan: “Tree caught on fire! The rain stopped!”
Oh geez.

Alon: “We need a firefighter, please! My girlfriend is fighting a fire in the backyard!”
Operator: “Sir this is an emergency line. Please don’t block it with your sexual activities.”

The fire got so bad they had to send two firefighters to get rid of it. One of them even caught fire for a second.
It was a scary couple of seconds.

This is it! We’ve finally made it!
Maegan: “Alon come on! It’s time for exams!”
Alon: “I’ve got to get these weeds though!”
Maegan: “Honey they’ll be here when you get back, the exams though are not going to wait for you.”
Alon: “Okay, okay.”

Finally! Maegan and Alon have graduated. Now, this happened for me a while ago but writing for university is just as hard as playing it just to let you know.

Alon also got back in time for his plants to be ready for harvesting.
-
He also got his gold garden badge which means we’re going to have a beautiful garden going at the tower this generation!
-
Maegan decided to finish college with maxing one more skill.
-
Time for the final graduation party!
-
Here is our generation 3 heir! Maegan was completely unplanned and yet she has quickly become a favourite of mine as you can probably tell.
With yet another Knowledge Sim in the family, I promise that next-generation I will do an heir poll.

Maegan isn’t the only one graduating though. Chance and Ella are also graduating and joining their significant others back on Hunter’s Island.
I won’t be updating you on these families anymore but their kids might pop up at the tower now and then.

A perfect way to celebrate their graduation was to give them the want these two have had since freshman year.

It was a roof raiser!

A quick phonecall and Alon is on his way back too. Before we join them though we’ve got one stop to make.
Alon: “Seriously?”
Shush you.

Back on Hunter’s Island, Bridget and Conner moved into a small house together and very quickly tied the knot becoming Mr and Mrs Bridget and Conner Dawn.

Sadly Bridget suffered a miscarriage.
-
-
She and Conner did decide to try one more time for a baby though and soon had a baby girl called Fae Dawn.
With this small spare update out of the way let’s introduce our generation three heir and future spouse!

The tower got a small makeover on the outside as you can see.
I added a garden for Alon to spend his time working on and I also added some markings on the ground so I know where I’m going to start building the next tower when we hit generation six.

Alon and Maegan waste no time in running off to the bedroom which in this case is probably a good thing.
I don’t think I’ve mentioned this yet but Maegan rolled a five, this means she’s going to having five children with Alon.
This tower is about to get very crowded.

Alon and Maegan’s dream job failed to turn up so no job for them just yet.

Cal: “Pancakes Maegan? It’s a bit late to have breakfast isn’t it?”
Maegan: “I guess but I was feeling for something sweet, you know?”

Generation three pictures are done!
I’m really glad I decided to do the same thing Sam did, I love seeing portraits of my Sims on each floor.

It’s time for a wedding party!
-
Looking back, I wish I had moved that car out of the way for these pictures.
Maegan: “Alon! Hi! We’re getting married!”
Alon: “Heh.”

Introducing generation three heir and spouse, Mrs and Mr Reed!

This family getting huge.

Okay, Ella isn’t invited anymore. She’s been picking fights with everyone all through this party.

Ella’s troublemaking aside the party was a roof raiser!

Cleaning up by yourself, Katelyn?
Katelyn: “Well I’m not going to make Maegan do it, it’s her wedding night!”

The next there was still nothing on the job front for either Maegan or Alon.
-
So they spent the day working on their hobbies.
-
-
First bump! Generation four is on the way!
-
Cheesecake Maegan?
Maegan: “I’m craving sweets right now.”
-
It was then I finally noticed that Maegan had reached permanent platinum in college.
-
You better start hanging around their graves then, Katelyn and also hope your dad is feeling grumpy.
-
Next day and still not jobs.
-
This means it's another day of hobbies and working on skills for everyone.
-
Except for Katelyn who got a chance card while at work.
Let’s try no with this one.

Shady bribe aside it worked out well!

Second bump!

What already? I didn’t think these two were that old.

Alon maxed out his logic skill!

The next day Maegan’s dream job finally appeared on the computer! She jumps straight to level nine which is amazing!

Alon, meanwhile, continues to work on the garden he started.
-
She still needs a few skills to get her last promotion so Maegan works on that.
-
Well, that didn’t take long. I can’t remember which skill this was but it took no time at all to max it.
-
Maegan: “Uh oh!”
Yes! Baby on the way!

Maegan: “I’ve got to do this five more times?!”
Maybe. It depends.
Maegan: “ON WHAT?!”
-
On if you have twins or not. Despite the cheesecake, Maegan ended up with only one baby this time.
-

It’s a little girl! She has Alon’s skin colour but her hair and eyes are from Maegan’s alien parent.
Meet Marigold Reed.
Marigold is a flowering plant in the daisy family Asteraceae. It is probably native to southern Europe, though its long history of cultivation makes its precise origin unknown, and it may be of garden origin.

Alon: “A little girl! She’s adorable, hello sweetheart I’m your daddy.”
Maegan: “Her name is Marigold.”
Alon: “What a beautiful name but I thought you didn’t want to them the kids after flowers?”
Maegan: “I didn’t but for some reason, this felt right.”
All the kids this generation will be named after different plant life. This will probably be the only theme I do but I thought it was fitting.

Fire alarm to the rescue!

Catastrophe averted here is what the tower looks like now!

Here’s downstairs. I closed off the kitchen/dining area so we have a bit of space near the front door.
-
Nothing’s changed on this floor.
-
Maegan and Alon’s bedroom is here and I’ve also placed Marigold right next door to them.
-
Finally, we have a new floor! All the kids will be up here, something I will quickly come to regret.
Later I will change that sketch station for a bottle fridge to make things easier on myself but next-generation I will probably move just the adults up and have the kids on the lower floors.

We end this part with Maegan and Alon getting to work on their kids. We’ve got four more to go after all.
