Hey, guys! Welcome back to Arbondale.

So my original plan went out of the window didn’t it? Unfortunately for me this household and the last household are the most boring out of the group.

So it was very hard for me to play them properly and write out their life, hence why a Sparrow update ended up coming first.

We’ve got just two more updates after this one before spring comes to an end.

So meet the Velazquez household! This is yet another twin household so the rate of twins will be kind of high in Arborndale.

These two are Miles and Ginger Velazquez and as you can tell these two are aliens.

Ginger is the shy twin, she agreed to move here with Miles because she wanted to try and start a new life which she has had trouble doing in Strangetown.

Miles, on the other hand, is a sarcastic gamer troll. His love for games and insulting people make him one sassy little romance Sim. He once started a hacker group in Strangetown but he decided to leave it when they started getting into politics and Miles hasn't got time for things like that.

This is the house I put the Velazquez household into. Isn’t it beautiful? I wasn’t kidding when I said I’m getting pretty good at building houses.

I must admit I did spend a lot of money on making the front look pretty so the top floor isn’t decorated but oh well.

Ginger wastes no time whipping up a batch of Grilled Cheese.

It was at this point did I realize that making it so fire alarms were illegal might not have been a good idea.

Miles: “Well hey there cutie!”

Hiroshi Vanderland: “Hello to you too gorgeous.”

I think we’ve just found Miles’s partner for life.

When I saw this I thought Miles and Hiroshi had just jumped ahead of time and gone straight to the bed.

Then I took another look.

Asher! You already have someone! Get out of that bed and leave Miles alone!

Asher: “Aww.”

Miles: “Call me!”

It’s the hairstyle. Apparently when I’m playing this game the colour of the hair doesn’t actually matter.

No lullaby thankfully. It’s only Monday, I’m not ready for a child to appear just yet.

Ginger was the one who got invited to the outing this time and she decided to go to The Hub.

The problem was that nearly all of them were college kids, meaning they are off limits to her.

Blonde: “So did you have fun?”

Ginger: “I did but I’ve got some bad news for you. You do know that I can’t actually date any of you, right?”

It was at that point a fight broke out on the dance floor. Poor college kid looks completely horrified while Ginger seems to be enjoying the view.

Blonde: “Plumbob why must Sims fight like this? And in public? Can’t they take it somewhere else?”

Ginger: “Yeah...right. Hit her! Hit her!”

The Sims that started fighting? It was Grace Palmer and Evelyn Pavich. Anyone surprised? I’m not.

What did Miles do while Ginger was Downtown? I’ll give you three guesses.

Miles: “I can’t believe it hasn’t even been one day and I’ve already found you.”

Hiroshi: “Less talking more kissing.”

Alright, who’s been picking on Asher? Look you made him cry.

Asher: “I’m n-not crying! I-I’m a wolf, w-wolfs don’t cry!”

Wolf pup you mean.

Miles: “Snow? Seriously? I thought it was meant to be Spring here.”

Are you starting to see a pattern here? Then you are probably starting to understand why it took me so long to get this update out.

This is all these two do, it gets boring very fast.

Miles ended up rolling a want to get engaged to Hiroshi so I was happy to comply. Of course, then he quickly rolled the fear of marrying him.

A quick date proved that Hiroshi had rolled the same fear. So I guess the two of them are staying fiancés until they can control their aspirations.

Miles: “Can’t believe they didn’t pay me anything for that picture. I worked on it for days!”

Did you know that Sims sometimes won’t get any money for their paintings? Did you know that they cry over that fact? I didn’t. Even after so many years, I’m still learning new things about this game.

Even if they aren’t going to get married, Hiroshi should still be a part of Miles’s life. Especially seeing as he does need to have kids with him.

Hiroshi of course happily accepted and brought §5,000 with him. Not a lot but enough to add some small details to the house.

Turns out he’s also a Detective in the Law Enforcement career. Unfortunately, as per my personal rules, he’s going to have to quit that job and start from fresh.

Don’t want to make this too easy on myself, if I’m going to unlock that burglar alarm then I’m going to do it right.

Miles: “See you when you get home Hiroshi.”

Hiroshi: “I’m going to try and finish this case today before I hand in my slip. I’ll be home late okay?”

Miles: “Sure. I’ll tell Ginger to hold off on dinner.”

Miles: “Oh crap.”

Not at all shocked by this. With the number of times, he and Hiroshi have Woohooed since they meet its no wonder that Miles is pregnant.

It was at this point did Ginger finally reappear in my eyesight. Meaning that she was finally doing something I could take a picture of.

His name is Finnegan ~~I’ve lost my bloody notes so I can’t remember his last name!~~ and he’s working an amazing moustache there.

Finnegan: “I’m a Bookie on the Criminal Career track.”

Ginger: “Well don’t mention that when you’re around Hiroshi. He’s a Detective at the moment, all though he is making arrangements to quit.”

Finnegan: “Hiroshi Vanderland? I remember him when I was just a Pickpocket! Who knew he would become a Detective?”

Miles and pregnancy are not a good mix. Every time he ate something he was immediately throwing it back up again.

I must admit that until his bump appears I was watching Miles very closely. There were so many close calls and I didn’t want to lose him while the Paranormal career is restricted.

Ginger isn’t like her twin brother. It took her two sim days before she was comfortable enough with Finnegan to start treating him like a crush instead of a stranger.

Oh, and his full name is Finnegan Maki. I finally found my freaking notes and this time I took the chance to write them down somewhere else.

Finnegan: “Hey! Don’t get it in my moustache; it’ll take hours to get out!”

Ginger: “Maybe you should try making it shorter? It can’t be nice having it so long while trying to eat.”

Oh finally. Thank god.

Miles: “Guess there’s no denying it now huh? I wonder what Hiroshi’s going to think when he comes home.”

~~When I was playing this I was originally going to have the Spouses keep their jobs and not have them count to unlocking the restrictions, hence why Hiroshi hasn’t quit his job yet.~~

I sent Miles to the Mall to get some pregnancy safe clothes and of course, the first place he walked into was the Game shock. Shame he can’t use most of what’s in there.

Miles: “Can you believe they banned all this stuff and then just left here? It’s like they're teasing us with it.”

Townie: “I know right? They even removed the plugs so we can’t have a sneaky play when the cashier looks away.”

I’ve never had a Sim take so long to progress in a relationship! It was Wednesday when Ginger finally had her first kiss with Finnegan.

Once they got started though they didn’t stop.

Thursday rolled around and Ginger made a fresh batch of Grilled Cheese for breakfast.

Ginger: “Do you think I’m moving too fast? I mean I only met him a few days ago.”

Miles: “Ginger I got pregnant by Hiroshi the day I met him, do you seriously think I’m the right person to talk to about this?”

Ginger: “Well who else am I going to talk too?!”

Ginger hasn’t got time to worry about her issues though. Her night with Finnegan has left her with a little gift.

Don’t play the game when half asleep. You’ll end up thinking that you haven’t gotten two Sims engaged when really you’ve just commended them to get married.

Despite the fear, both of them hold for it.

Now they both fear to have a baby. ‘Gets ready for Red Zone’

That evening Ginger popped into her first semester.

Ginger: “I better give Finn a call.”

Seeing as both were being kept awake the twins decided to make it a game night while Hiroshi slept.

Ginger: “Watch out for that turn there!”

Miles: “I know!”

Friday morning rolled around and Miles went into the labour.

Miles: “Mistake! This was a huge mistake!”

Did I mention that both he and Hiroshi still have a fear of having a baby? Yeah, that’s still a thing.

Can I just say that I love in when babies randomly have one of my birthmark custom skins? It just makes them more real!

Anyway, Miles had a little boy with, as I mentioned, pale custom skin and alien eyes. He also has Miles's brown hair.

This little one is called Leonard Vanderland because Miles would be someone who names his kids after his favourite TV characters.

Oh, here it comes.

Miles: “Okay L-Leonard. Y-you sit right there for just one s-second.”

Leonard: “What are you doing daddy?”

Miles: “Haha-A baby! I just h-had a baby! Ahahaha! I’m married and I’ve had a baby! AHAHAHAHA! I’M NOT READY FOR THIS! AHAHAHAAHAHAHA! I’M A FATHER!”

Leonard: “Do I really have to watch this? Talk about the biggest insult in the world. Me being born caused my Daddy to have a mental breakdown.”

Miles: “AHHHHHH!”

Therapist: “Okay buddy up you get. There we go.”

Miles: “B-baby. Ahahaha! BABY!”

Therapist: “Okay I see the problem here. The common Romance Sim ends up settling down shtick.”

Miles: “M-married! Baby! WHAT?!”

Therapist: “Okay time to put you back together again. We don’t want your son seeing you like this do we?”

Miles: “SON?!”

Therapist: “Okay quiet down now. This is a nice easy fix when I remove my hand you will find yourself acting like a chicken okay?”

Miles: “Ahhhh!”

Therapist: “Okay ready? 1…2…3!”

Miles: ‘Starts clucking like a chicken’

Therapist: “I love my job.”

As soon as his aspiration is back from rock bottom Miles jumps at the chance to make it up to his new born son, and hopefully clear the awkwardness in the air.

Miles: “I hope you don’t take that personal Len. I love you, I just have commitment issues.”

Ginger soon returned home with a promotion!

I wonder if I’ll end up getting Vacations unlocked before I can get the kids off to an actual school. That would be frustrating.

Taking the chance for a break Miles left Leonard in the care of his sister and took a quick trip downtown.

Wilder Bubbler: “You don’t think anyone saw that right?”

Miles: “Nah. I’m pretty good and hiding things.”

Not content with his ‘sneaky’ photo booth woohoo with Wilder, Miles moves on to the next Sim who catches his eye.

Miles: “Hi there. You free?”

Kirk Murfett: “As long as you don’t plan on us going back into that photo booth you were just in.”

Miles: “Look, man, I’m a Romance Sim who just got married and had a kid. I was desperate alright?”

Female Sim (Background): “This is better than that show set in that office.”

Hiroshi arrived home at sunset and immediately collapsed to the ground at the realisation that he was a father now.

At least he didn’t do it in front of Leonard.

Hiroshi: “UBLUUBLUH!”

Should probably introduce you to Hiroshi huh? While I’ve got the chance to I mean.

Hiroshi Vanderland

Ginger was less than sympathetic towards him.

Ginger: “It’s only a baby, what’s the big deal? The number of times you two went to bed together you shouldn’t be shocked by this result!”

Says the women with the bulging belly with no ring on her finger.

Deciding to fix that Ginger proposes to Finnegan that night.

Unable to afford a proper wedding the two get married there and then. It probably would have been sweeter if Miles was home and Hiroshi was actually awake to watch.

Ginger: “I do.”

Finnegan: “I do.”

I gave Finnegan and quick makeover. His moustache got a trim and he also received a new hair style, everything else about him though was okay. Here are Finnegan’s stats as well.

Miles returned home a little after midnight and, to my shock; he brought Kirk Murfett home with him. Taking advantage of the fact Hiroshi was asleep the two put the couch to good use.

Second bump!

Hiroshi: “Why is the couch damp?”

Saturday rolled around and was pretty quiet. I took the chance to add a garage to the house and I also added a tree to make the front view look prettier.

I still haven’t decorated upstairs mind you but priorities.

Georgina Camp: “Mmm. That Hiroshi is one nice piece of a**!”

Thank you, Georgina, your comment was just what Hiroshi wanted to hear while he was feeding his newborn son.

All that cheating seemed to be good for Miles. Back in gold Aspiration he's also somehow worked off all his baby fat.

Miles: "I'm a Romance sim through and through!"

Later that evening Ginger finally went into labour while she was on her way to bed for the night.

Ginger: “Oh! OH! Finn! Finn! Turn around, turn around!”

Finnegan: “I’m coming, honey!”

Finnegan: “Plumbob above! You know what? Never mind I’ll think I’ll just go back to be-”

Ginger: “Don’t you dare, Finn!”

Damn Ginger, what were you eating while pregnant? He looks like he’s flying in the clouds!

Baby: “I’m going to the moon~.”

It's twins!

As you can see Ginger had a little boy and a little girl which I decided to call Grey and Willow after the tree Willow Grey.

They’re identical at the moment with Ginger’s skin colour and black hair, but with Finnegan’s brown eyes. We’ll have to see when they're older if they're completely identical.

Sunday morning started up with what Miles and Hiroshi do best. With protection this time, both are rolling fears for another baby.

Toddlers, of course, can only mean one thing! It’s time for Leonard to have his first birthday!

This is his second attempt at growing up as Leonard decided right there and then that he needed to go potty.

Second times a charm though and Leonard happily grows into a toddler with the town surrounding him.

Hiroshi: “How about we sort out your hair Len? Then I think I’m going to take a much-needed shower.”

He’s a splitting image of Miles, the only difference is that he has Hiroshi’s nose.

Despite his love for his son Hiroshi still hasn’t quite accepted that he’s settled down with someone.

Hiroshi: “Hey~ there baby. Single? You bet I am.”

Would have been nice if you waited to do this until after the birthday party there Hiroshi.

Velazquez rolled to a close as Miles, Hiroshi and Leonard moved out to have their own rotation in the summer.

This took me so long to get out and for that, I apologize so much. This household didn’t really catch my attention that much so it was hard to write something and have it sound good.
