A Sparrow Legacy! Chapter 1.02
Warning: A quick warning there is sim nudity and mild swearing but all of it is censored in some way.
Just thought I would warn you just encase it's not censored enough.

Welcome back to The Sparrow Legacy!
Last time we meet our founder Sally Sparrow who then proceeded to find love in Kacper Greaves.
The two of them married but struggled to find places in their chosen careers. Sally soon found out though that generation one is on the way.

We join the Sparrows just as Sally’s has her second bump. That means the baby will be here soon!
Are you excited, Sally?
Sally: “I’m nervous Comet. What if I’m not any good?”
I’m sure you’ll be a great mother Sally. Besides you’ve got Kacper to support you too.
Sally: “Thanks.”

Of course being pregnant isn’t easy and for Sally, that statement is even truer.
You know Kacper is preparing food for you, Sally.
Sally: “He always burns it.”
That’s because you never let him near the cooker.

One thing I noticed looking back on these things was that I wasn’t very good at actually recording my Sims lives through pictures. It seems I got too into the game to remember to actually take pictures.
I’m happy to report I’m a lot better at it now, hence why later chapters are so much longer.
Time does fly by quickly though and soon Sally is going into labour.
Sally: “Cas! Put the paintbrush down please!”
Kacper: “But I’ve got to get your mouth perfect!”

Kacper: “Oh God! What should I do?! I know! I’ll pray! Oh mighty Plumbob please give me the strength to get through this horrible time-”
Sally: “Just shut up Kacper! This hurts enough without your babbling!”
Oh wow, I made that joke in the second chapter? I thought for sure it was a more recent one. It’s nice to know how far things go back.
It’s a little boy! Meet the first baby of generation one, Silver Sparrow!
Sally: “Aww! Aren’t you just the cutest thing? Yes, you are. Yes, you are!”

Kacper: “You are amazing Sally. How are you feeling?”
Sally: “A bit dizzy actually.”
Kacper: “What’s his name?”
Sally: “Silver. His name is Silver Sparrow.”

Kacper: “Uh…Sally? You okay there?”
Baby: “Falling! I’m falling!”
Sally!

Sally: “W-what? Oh! Oh, my goodness. I think you better take him Cas, I need to go lie down.”
Yeah, I think that’s a good idea Sally. We don’t want to lose him when it hasn’t even been an hour yet.

Kacper: “That’s okay Sal. You go to sleep; I’ll watch Silver here for a while.”
Sally: “Wait, haven’t we got work in a few hours?”
Kacper: “You can’t go to work Sally. You almost passed out then.”
Sally: “We need the money though. I’ll give the nanny a call and then take a nap. You watch Silver until she turns up.”
Kacper: “Sal...”
Don’t worry Cas. Silver just gave Sally a huge Aspiration Boost, meaning I have the perfect thing to help you.
Bloody lowered walls, always ruining my pictures. Even now they haunt me.

Unfortunately, Sally was correct about the money situation. While I did make room for the baby I didn’t have enough to get the stuff until just now.
Meaning we’re completely broke. Luckily Sally is a Family Sim so having Silver just made her very happy.
Sally: “This looks so unsafe! But it feels amazing!”

There’s no time to be a mother in a Legacy and Sally was off to work as soon as the sun rose that day.
All though I can’t help but notice the smile on your face now Sally.
Sally: “I have a loving husband, a beautiful son and I’m working in my dream career. What don’t I have to smile about?”
True enough.

But both parents have gone to work and you know what that means? It’s time for the dreaded Nanny Visit.
This is Candice Yang.
Candice Yang: “Not all of us nannies are terrible you know.”
Yeah, but most of you are.

Candice was actually a pretty good caregiver to Silver. She didn’t ignore or wet herself. All though she did over feed him.
Candice: “Hungry, hungry. That’s all babies are.”
Silver: “No! No more milk!”

What?! So they destroy a classroom and it’s Sally who gets punished?! What a corrupt school, those brats should be expelled!
This chance card gets me every time! Every time!

Sally: “Guess who managed to keep her job?”
But…you were level one! You can’t be demoted, there’s nothing to be demoted to!
Sally: “And yet, that's what happened. So that throws your logic out the window doesn’t it?”

Sally: “I got demoted! *Burst into tears* I’m never going to recover from this. It’s going to be on my record forever!”
But you didn’t get-*Sigh* you know what? It doesn’t matter. Just go dismiss the nanny before we lose more money.
Sally: “This really backfired didn’t? Maybe I should have stayed home.”

Oh, for-Are you kidding me?! Again?! They both got fired because of Chance Cards?!
I’m not even kidding here. I didn’t have a chance to get Sally settled down before Kacper’s popped up.
Damn it all!

Unlike Sally though, there was no glitch to protect Kacper from unemployment. That’s yet another paycheck gone.
Kacper: “What was I thinking? I can’t believe I forgot how much everyone loves the stuff!”
You couldn’t have known Kacper. It was Grilled Cheese for crying out loud!
Kacper: “Something the whole company loved!”

Kacper: “What are we going to do? We can’t survive on just Sally’s paycheck, especially now that we’ve got Silver.”
Cas, why don’t you go chill out somewhere? Sally’s home early too so why don’t you go see her?
Kacper: “What? Why is Sal home early?”
That’s something she should explain, not me.
Kacper: “This day can’t possibly get any worse.”

Sally and Kacper didn’t really have time to spend time together though. With Kacper home, Sally had to rush off back to work before she actually lost her job.
Of course, this left Kacper crying around the house for hours, even though he got his job back pretty quickly.
Kacper: “How are we going to afford anything? I’m a useless husband!”

Sally…
Sally: “I know, I know! But the headmaster was so apologetic! He regretted even thinking about firing me and wouldn’t let me turn this down for a second.”
I understand Sal but even with Cas being who he is, there's no way he won't feel bad about this.
Sally: "Then I'll just have to cheer him up then."

Maybe that was a step too far with the cheering up?
Sally: “It could be food poisoning.”
Hahaha…oh you were serious.

Sally…Sally!
Sally: *Snort* Huh?! Oh…Comet. *Yawn* What’s the matter? I was just resting my eyes.”
Yeah, in your cheeseburger.
Sally: “…What?”

Sally! You didn’t even make it to the bed!
Sally: “But this carpet is so soft! Why can’t I just sleep here?”
Why can’t-?! Because it’s the floor! Now get in your bed before your comfort bar drops into red!
Sally: “Ugh…”

Sally, would you please stop getting up? Your needs are so far in the red.
Sally: “But I had to do something!”
So much for your food poisoning theory, huh?

With Sally finally asleep it falls to Kacper to help Silver with his birthday. They didn’t have enough friends for a party but considering he’s a baby, I really doubt Silver cares all that much.

My toddlers very rarely need a huge makeover in my games. They normally end up in some pretty good clothes though. His hair though, that needs to change.
Kacper: “To the mirror, we go then.”

I always loved how Silver turned out. I especially loved the fact he had a very broad face from a very early age. It makes him look slightly awkward at the moment but I’m sure he’ll grow into it.
I have no idea where those outgoing points came from though. Both Kacper and Sally don’t have any so the fact their son has nine is a bit odd.

Silver was quickly tossed onto the potty before he could make a mess in his nappy.
Kacper: “Do this for me and daddy will get you a cookie.”
Are you sure you should be bribing the kid like that?
Kacper: “If it works, it works.”

Potting Training Face montage.
The default set of eyes I’ve got here is not very good with animation tbh. This is where I fell in love with Maxis Match default stuff, and the next chapter I believe is when I get a new set in.

The one thing I will say is that Silver has a very interesting smile. Because his face is so bold is does look a bit strange on a toddler.
Silver: “Are you calling me ugly?”
No! No, your smile is just a bit different that’s all.
Silver: “So because my smile is different that means that I’m ugly in your eyes? Wow. Who knew our watcher could be so cruel?”
I wasn’t- *Sigh* Never mind.

With a small dose of Smart Milk, Silver learns his Toddler Skills quickly. Yes, that does include Potty Training; I just didn’t bother taking another picture of it.
Kacper: “Well it’s not ‘dada’ but I guess saying when you’re hungry is good too.”
Silver: “That’s great. Can you get me that bottle now?”
Kacper: “Yes that’s right. Bottle.”

After that awful first day, Sally is easily flying through this career track. She’ll have completed it in no time if we keep going at this pace.

With more money coming into the house I was able to give the Sparrow household a much need upgrade, especially with Sally expecting her second child.

Kapcer is also moving up in his career after his bad start. The only problem is…

…Working full time and being the main caretaker of Silver is really taking its toll on the poor guy.
Sally needs to hurry up and have her baby; otherwise, I’m going to have to have Kacper quit for the sake of his health!
Kacper: “I can see why Sally sleeps here now…*Yawn*…It’s surprisingly comfortable.”
Please don’t sleep on the floor Kacper. Your comfort bar is tanking.

Silver: “Why is nobody coming to let me out? I’m awake and I want attention!”
They have more important things to take care of that than you, Silver!
Silver: “That’s not true! I’m the baby, what is more, important than me?!”
Staying alive for one thing.

Baby bump #2! Sally has been such a nightmare to look after during this pregnancy, every time I looked away from her she was near death again.
Sally please, get back in bed.
Sally: “But I’m so hungry! I hope there’s some food out there for me otherwise I’m just going to drop.”

Silver: “Look, daddy is reading to me.”
I can see that Silver.
Silver: “So you’re wrong! I do get the attention that I want.”
Not for long you won’t.
Silver: “What’s that supposed to mean?!”

While the money situation isn’t as bad as it was, it’s still pretty bad that I don’t feel guilty sending Sally to work while she’s heavily pregnant.
Especially when she brings home bonuses like this!

Silver: “Mama! Feed me!”
How long have you been sitting there Silver?
Silver: “Too long! I’m going to starve to death at this rate. Mama!”

Sally? Silver’s been waiting a while to be fed.
Sally: “Well he’s going to have to wait a bit longer.”

Kacper: "Hey Sal, is dinner almost ready?"
Sally: "AHHHH!"
Kacper: "Woah sorry! I'll back off."
She having the baby you idiot.

Kacper: "What?! Ah! What should I do?! Do you need anything Sally? Water? Towels? Food?! Should I pray again?!"
Sally: "Kacper! We've done this before remember? Just stay quiet and let me do my thing!"

It's another little boy!
Sally: "So it was you causing me all those problems huh? Oof!"
'Oof'?

Sally: “Here Cas, you better hold him for the moment.”
Kacper: “Are you feeling tired Sal? I can take it from here if you want.”
Sally: “It’s not that. Just hang on a second.”
Oh, don’t tell me…

…Yep twins. Sally! We could barely afford one baby, why would you have twins?
Sally: “You make it sound like I get a choice in how many babies I have, Comet! I didn’t plan this you know!”
I know, I know. It’s just…twins…ugh.

Are you not even going to finish dinner?
Sally: “Hey I just gave birth to twins, fed Silver and put him to bed. I think I deserve an early night!”

So I guess the twins care falls to you tonight Kacper. Did she even name them yet?
Kacper: “Nope! Which means, I get to choose them. Can’t call them Baby one and two until Sally is well again after all.”
I guess you’ve got a point. So, what are you calling them?
Kacper: “Sylvester and Sydney. To be honest, we picked out names already, it just we were going to use Sydney if the baby was a girl.”
I like them, Sylvester and Sydney it is.

Silver: “No! There’s two of them! Now I’ll be stuck in the crib forever.”
Or at least until you grow up enough to get yourself out.
Silver: “NO!”

Yes that is Sydney that Sally is holding there and I can say with a laugh that he did look down before looking up at her, as if that was what he was thinking.
Right I’m going to leave it right there you guys. I’m trying to go through these as fast as I can so hopefully I’ll have an update for you soon.
