Okay, let's try this one more time, shall we?

Hello everyone and welcome to the finale update of Spring in the little town called Arborndale.

To be honest the main reason I took so long for this is that Dreamwidth didn’t save my previous tries properly and I ended up losing two different version that was about halfway complete.

You can probably understand why I didn’t want to continue after that. So I took a step back, started two different challenges before I decided to give it another go.

So this is it! My third, and hopefully last, attempt at finally finishing Spring so I can bring you the Summer update.

Meet Courtney Puckett, our witch of this neighbourhood. Once again for her official stats make sure you read the Resident Summary. She’s going to our Gardner and when business is unlocked she’ll also be the one to own a grocery store.

At the moment she is a neutral witch as I wanted her to choose which aliment she was going to study for. Basically, this depends on what spells she rolls wants for.

This is the house I ended up building for her, isn’t it cute? I based it on that little blue bungalow you get with the came but made it smaller and placed a greenhouse in the back.

This challenge has really helped with my building skills in this game.

While I do intend for Courtney and her descendants to own a grocery store in the future, she needs money to do that.

With her secondary aspiration being Knowledge I got her to get a place in the Science track knowing that will keep her happy for a while.

The rest of the morning was spent with her greeting townies walking past. Buttercup is someone who is known by everyone in this town, so it was no surprise she turned up here too.

Oscar was the only one who turned up for the welcome wagon, way to make her feel welcome guys, but they ended up getting along pretty well.

Oscar: “Do you like plants? ‘cause I would love for you do my front lawn like you’ve done yours.”

Courtney: “What do you have growing there so far?”

Oscar: “Nothing. It’s just my lawn so far.”

Courtney: “Oh.”

Oscar didn’t stay long so soon Courtney was back outside looking for someone to talk to.

She ran across this lovely looking woman but since I didn’t write down her name it obviously didn’t go anywhere.

Obituary 6: 00 o’clock call that Courtney was quick to accept. She’s trying to find love after all.

I was trying to be different and go to the bowling ally instead but apparently, it's too full.

Fine! I’ll just stick to what I know then.

As usually the collection of Sims the game picked for me was a no go with Courtney. I decided to just let her relax for a while and see who pops up.

Courtney: “I can’t believe I made that shot!”

She mostly paid pool but that was mainly because she kept trying to play the arcade games, which are banned.

Ooh! Vampire, vampire!

Contessa Daisy Leitner: “I smell witches blood. It smells-damn that girl got a nice a**!”

Ruined the image I was going for you there Daisy.

Courtney wasn’t as interested in her though.

Courtney: “Stop staring.”

Daisy: “I can’t help it! You could flip a bottle on that!”

Courtney: “If I could, I wouldn’t be doing it in front of you.”

Back at home, I decided to let Courtney have a go at the Crystal Ball. Her top choice was the familiar face of Georgina Camp, one of the hobbyists we met back in the Velazquez update.

Courtney: “You’re cute. I bet you’d look even hotter in your underwear.”

Georgina: “That comment was creepy but I find you adorable.”

*Cough* Turns out they were natural 3 bolts, despite the fact Georgina doesn’t match any of Courtney’s turn-ons.

Neither wanted to get engaged yet but I was more than happy to get Courtney to ask the girl to move in.

Georgina: “I would be happy to!”

To be honest, I’ve had my eye on Georgina for a while, I knew I wanted her in a family when I first saw her.

They both ended rolling a want to get engaged over the #FertilityCereal so I decided to let them go ahead.

Georgina: “I know it's not the most romantic of proposals but will you marry me?”

Courtney: “Of course I will!”

Now I’ve got someone to take care of the plants while Courtney starts studying her magic.

Tuesday morning, yes all that happened in one day, starts with Courtney feeling a bit sick. Seems like the pregnancy is already hitting her.

Georgina’s day doesn’t start any better to be honest with you, as she ends up getting shouted at from some random Sim.

Georgina: “Look I have no idea who you are, what your problem is or why I’m in involved but I don’t want to be shouted at like this!”

Georgina will be going into the Business track but until it turns up I got her making some money from paintings.

Georgina: “It’s…beautiful!”

Well, I wouldn’t go that far.

Courtney has been rolling wants to cast light spells so I’m going to take that as a sign to watch alliance she wants to pledge to.

She barely started when her pregnancy decided to show itself.

The day ended up being pretty slowly and soon it was early Wednesday morning. Courtney starts the day by snorting cereal up her nose.

Georgina: “Maybe you should go to be? I don’t think to stay up all night and studying magic is good for the baby.”

Courtney: “Maybe.”

After a good sleep, Courtney went out to take care of her trees. All though I’m doubting how good that must be for the baby.

Courtney: “I should probably just leave this for Georgina.”

By the time Georgina comes out the trees have bloomed some fruit that was quickly sold.

That evening Courtney had her second pop and finally rolled her fear of marriage away!

Georgina had been wishing for marriage since the two got engaged and I was worried it wouldn’t happen this round.

Courtney: “I’m already having her kid. What’s wrong with getting married to her too?”

Love your logic there Courtney!

Thursday rolled around with the wedding arch set up on the sidewalk. It wasn’t a very big party but it got the job done.

Introducing Courtney and Georgina Puckett!

I didn’t realise Courtney’s dress had a pregnancy morph but I’m low key glad about it.

Georgina: “*Chokes**Coughs* Courtney! I can’t breathe!”

Courtney: “If you can talk then you breathe.”

With the baby due any time now Courtney decided to spend the night playing video games while Georgina slept.

Courtney: “I’m so going to beat her high score.”

Strangely though when she did finally go into labour she decided to do it in the greenhouse.

I don’t understand! There was more than enough room for you to do this in the living room, why did you come outside?!

It’s a little boy with Courtney’s eye colour and Georgina’s hair and skin colour.

He ended up not getting Witch powers so I decided to call him Daniel, after Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG1; the most extraordinary human ever.

I’m just going to say this now if another boy turns up in this family and he ends with Witch powers I’m going to make him Heir; I would rather a Supernatural inherit the family.

Georgina and Courtney celebrate the new addition in their own way.

Georgina: “You should have got me, instead of going outside. I would have helped.”

Courtney: “You would have panicked. This way I brought little Danny into the world without fuss and you stayed unstressed.”

Georgina: “I love you.”

Courtney: “I love you too.”

Daniel: “AHHHH!”

What’s the matter?

Daniel: “Make them stop!”

*Chokes* Oh my-Stop that! Your kid is right there!

Georgina: *Giggles*

The rump on the couch ended up leaving Courtney pregnant with her second child.

Georgina: “Look Victor I don’t care what’s going on the lot, I’m not the hobby icon anymore. You should have hired someone as soon as I quit, that’s what I told you to do! I’m not coming back Victor, I’m married and I have a kid to take care. Nothing you say is going to convince me.”

This guy has been calling ever since Georgina moved in, by this point it’s pretty annoying and I’m more than ready for them to stop.

Courtney is still working on the Science track for now but she happily pops into her first trimester as soon as she got home.

Georgina: “This picture looks crooked to me.”

Weren’t you just feeding the baby?

Daniel (On the floor): *Sigh*

The rain ends up getting a bit out of hand on Saturday so I had Courtney use her spells to make it go away.

Courtney: “I’m a true Light Witch now! I bring out the sun on gloomy days!”

Sunday was a quiet end to the week. The only thing worth a picture was the fact Courtney is officially a Light Witch and that she also entered her second trimester.

Other than that nothing happened to end the week so I’m going to bring it a close here.

I will re-read this later one when I’m more awake so if there are any mistakes it means I have proofread this yet. The Summary for the year will be out shortly too so look out for that.

Other than that I’m going to get to work on either the first Summer update or my BBC, or maybe even the Sparrows as I haven’t uploaded something to them in a while.
