Hello and welcome back to Arborndale, or I should say the new Abrondale!

Due to some unfortunate problems with my last save I had to completely restart the neighbourhood, which means starting everything I played all over again.

I’m thinking of it as a blessing honestly because I had played so far ahead that I was actually bored withthis little challenge. So a new start is great for me!

I have changed some things to how I play this thing, the mini challenges are still the same but the rules are not so strict anymore. Make sure you refresh yourselves with everything here.

Another thing I have changed is the Supernatural inheritance thing I was doing. I didn’t like it so I got rid of it. I’m now using mods by the amazing midgethetree on Tumblr to make things a lot more fun when it comes to the Supernatural.

I’ve also added the amazing new trait system by hexagonal-bipyramid. I’m only just trying it now as I wanted to wait for it to become a bit more active in the game before giving it a go.

Here is a quick look at the new neighbourhood! It’s a lot smaller now and not so crowded with lots that I’m never going to use.

The terrain was originally called Marigold Valley and it was created by Voleste on Tumblr.

The residential lots are all made by the wonderful HoneyWell on Mod the Sims and I highly recommended them.

Finally, the community lots are made by DeeDee-Sims and Frottanas. I have made some small edits to them but I would recommend you check them out. To top it off their CC-Free!

First thing’s first I finally got hold of a ROS that I’m not only happy with but, but also that I could get working.

The King’s ended up winning 160 in the lottery, not a lot but every bit helps.

Oscar and Alfred moved into the lot called Peace Yellow 3BR 3BA. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is more than enough room for this growing family.

Seems like Alfred will be contributing to the household by selling his paintings from now on.

The welcome wagon soon showed up with a very pregnant Courtney Puckett and Paisley Strider. As you can see I took the chance to give them both makeovers and I think they look loads better.

We don’t have to wait long though before Oscar goes into labour!

In true awkward Oscar fashion, he chose the smallest room in the house to go into labour.

It’s a little girl with Oscar’s colouring, eyes and hair. Hopefully, she at least looks like Alfred because right not she’s a clone of Oscar.

Anyway, meet Izadora King!

Oscar’s post-mortem panic quickly fades when confronted by the sheer joy Alfred has for their tiny daughter.

Her nursery is in the smallest room at the moment, but if another baby comes along I’ll move her to the bigger room.

Oscar: “Oh, this isn’t good. How on earth can I do anything without a job? Can’t believe I got fired.”

Lucky enough it was easily enough for him to get his job back in the Medical career, but he has to start from the bottom all over again.

The problem with having a sloppy sim is that not only do they make huge messes they also break everything they touch.

Georgina Puckett walked by but she got chased off the lot by a wolf before I could get anyone to greet her.

Alfred and Oscar then decided they wanted to add one more to their little family.

This time Alfred is the one who is pregnant, so the baby will have his last name.

It’s Izadora’s birthday! It looks like she does take after Alfred in looks just like I had hoped, bit disappointed she didn’t get Oscar’s ears though.

It’s another little girl! This one has S2 which Oscar’s eyes and hair. Fingers crossed she gets Oscar's ears!

It feels great to play this again! For a long time, I thought I would have to abandon this so I’m gladly recreating them has seemed to fix that.

These two won’t be having any more kids, they don’t the room for it. I only let them have these two so they have someone to continue on their lineage.
